Q: me and the honey are wanting to buy a couple of mountain bikes but not wanting to spend 2 weeks pay/bike.
can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction for decent bikes around the $200 range per bike?

The result is a bicycle patrol unit that should be a little faster and more agile thanks to three new Cannondale mountain bikes.
The police department accepted the bikes at the Feb. 21 Borough Council meeting.
The specially designed police bicycles, complete with flashing red and blue lights mounted in the area of the handlebars, cost nearly $4,900. The original bicycles, dating to the start of the bike patrol in the mid-1990s, are still in service.
