Q: I am going hunting later this year with a few friends, this is the first trip for me just looking for advise. Trip will be 3 days long not far from home.
A: Bring your license, rifle, ammo, binoculars, knife, game bags, warm and cold weather gear it can change quickly, clothes, spare boots, food, water and probably beer ;)
If it's critical bring a spare eg. knife, boots, binoculars.
If you’ve met the kids and they seem well-adjusted, I’d say your kid will be fine. If the kids are twitchy and can’t look you in the eye, i’d get sketchy. Worst case, you can ask to come along! Hunts are a good deal of fun and mostly just hanging out anyway.
