Duck hunting and fly fishing waders?

Q: I need to get a pair of waders and would like them to double as both duck hunting and fly fishing waders. It would help to have boots suitable for both purposes as well. Any suggestions?

A: Two ways to go with waders...

1) Reasonably priced and heavy: These are usually neoprene with molded-in boots. Here's an example from Bass Pro Shops

If you plan to do a lot of walking to and from your fishing spots, also while fishing. Stocking foot waders with separate boots , will be your best choice for comfort. If your fishing trips have not much walking, boot foot waders will work. I have both, by far the stocking foot waders are the best. Also, the use of Goretex or any other breathable type wader will also keep you more comfortable. One more thing. Neoprene type waders are awesome in the colder waters of November - March. But I would seriously never wear them in the warmer months! You will sweat like crazy! Well, it depends on what you buy. There are $800 waders, then there are $50 waders. If you plan on using these strictly for fishing, I would get the stocking foot...
