Q: Price and manufacturer is not a consideration. Would be interested in usual manufacturers but also heads and shafts accessible to private clubmakers.

A: Get the Taylor Made R5 with stiff flex shaft and neutral weighting (they also make a draw-weighted model). It's only 150 bucks right now, as it was replaced as the front-line driver by the R7. It's a great club and an unreal value at $150. I bought one
