Q: what would be better, a alpine micro elite or a parker side kick for youth and ladies for a 13 year old boy that is pretty strong
A: Both bows have plenty of adjustment for draw length so you can lengthen it as he grows. One big difference is the Alpine has 65% let-off and the Parker has 80%. The 80% let-off will make it easier to hold at full draw. You can get both bows in 40-50 pound
Darton Ranger III Compound Bow
The Darton Ranger III compound bow has been created as a way of introducing the young archer to the sport. The bow is extremely versatile in order to cater for the child as he or she grows from very small to young adult.
One of the key features of the bow is that it comes with a range of 9 draw modules that can be swapped in and out when the draw length has to be adjusted. Consequently the draw length can be adjusted from 17” to 28” which will ensure the bow is going to last for more than just a couple of years. This ensures the bow can be used by the very young child right through to the mid-teens. The adjustable draw weight ranges from a light 15 lbs right up to 45 lbs.
