Deer hunters who have taken a good buck, whether it was during the recent 2011 hunting season or 25 years ago, can have their buck measured by a certified scorer free of charge at the upcoming North Missouri Outdoor Classic, March 10-11, in Chillicothe.
Admission to the 5th annual event, sponsored by the North Missouri Sportsman’s Alliance, is $5 for adults and $1 for those 12 years of age and younger.
The NMSA has arranged for a number of Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett certified scorers to measure any deer brought into the Outdoor Classic. Plus, scorers will also be measuring the bucks entered into the NMSA’s Big Buck contest. The winners will be announced Saturday, March 10.
