Corey of the blog, "See Corey Run" contemplates the latest craze - running skirts!
Q:
A: Yes, but bring tampons.
The expression "runs like a girl" may have been an insult, but no longer! Especially when you consider that the running skirt, which seemed like a passing trend, is here to stay. Running gear giants like Brooks and New Balance sell skirts side by side with running shorts. And if you don't like shorts, but hate overheating when out for a run, try a running skirt. They're cute, airy, and cover your behind a little bit more than shorty shorts.
I smirked at the sight of people wearing these for years, though I was admittedly curious about their appeal. Then there was one on sale for $10 and I decided to figure out for myself. You just need to run in them once to understand. It's as comfortable as running in underwear (or racing briefs) and you still can be more modest and adorable.
