Q: I have an air hockey table that never gets used. I enjoy ping pong and want to build a ping pong table top for it. Ive read online that MDF is probably the best board to use for the top. Is this true? and does a seasoned DIY builder who may have taken
A: Medium Density Fiberboard is an excellent choice. It will remain stable in a regular house environment of 45% to 75 % RH. You can paint the MDF, just make sure you paint BOTH sides.
MDF is very heavy about 45 pounds for a 4x8 x 1/2" sheet
Ok people. I’m not sure what to say about this. It’s a few weeks old, but it may be the greatest thing I have ever seen in my life. I would give up my unborn child to be the guy who did this or to even be there and watch! It’s a ping pong match. I don’t know where it is or who really watches ping pong, but more people need to! As you can see, I’m a little lost for words right now, so I suppose I will share with you this majesty of a video….it’s beautiful.
Competitors young and old — with various levels of experience — came to Riverview Collegiate Saturday for the Saskatchewan Closed Table Tennis Championship.
The competition featured more than 50 players from across the province. Riverview had 10 competitors — both students and teachers — take part.
The competition was divided into under-350 and an open categories based on the overall ranking of each individual. Any person who has enough wins to be ranked over 350 played in the open category.
