...A local hockey team recently had its jerseys stolen from the coach’s vehicle.
The Airdrie Novice Travel Team’s red jerseys were stolen from Jay Moravec’s SUV overnight on Feb. 24-25 at his home in Thornburn.
The thieves stole 19 home jerseys and Moravec’s skates.
“I felt so bad when I realized what happened,” he said.
“It was a sinking feeling and I felt bad that I live somewhere where this would happen.”
Moravec reported the incident to the Airdrie RCMP.
