Q: All of the girls at my gymnastics club wear leotards during the winter and say that it keeps them warm. How can a small tight fitting leotard keep you warm?
P.S. I am a male gymnast.
A: because they are made thicker than most clothes. they also make you sweat more during the summer.
I would go with the large. Leotards are always stretchy, but having a leotard that’s too small, especially in the torso where you move a lot, is annoying. My leotard was too small one year in gymnastics because we ran out of larger sizes and I hated doing my routines in it because it was so uncomfortable. It’s always better to have something be too big than too small.

We bought this for my 5yr old and she’s in love with it! The sizing is on the small side so if in doubt I strongly encourage you to go up a size! We made the mistake of ordering a cs (my daughter is very petite) and had to return it. The company was quick to send out another leo with a return envelope for the cs. Overall we would buy from this seller again!
