Q: My son recently got a Rawlings football at a flea market. It is a ST-5,but is definetly not like the new ones at all.It has 80801 on the back side by the inflation hole,and says official intercollegiate. How long has the soft touch 5 been made? Any ideas

...Springville has announced the hiring of Willy Child as the school’s new football coach. He replaces Scott Mitchell who resigned earlier this year.
Child has been the head baseball coach at Springville for 12 years, and he’s also served as an assistant coach with the football team for the past 20 years.
“I’m really excited. There’s a rich football tradition here, and I’m excited for the opportunity,” said Child, who is a Springville graduate. “The things coach Mitchell did were great, and we’ll continue with that and build upon that.”
