Q: okay so I just got back from a trip to Canada where I went rock climbing for the first time in a town called Squamish. It was awesome! It sucks though because I live in Nebraska where there are pretty much no rock climbing places except crappy indoor

A: Most rock climbing in South Dakota will be in the Black Hills. There are quite a few places that do beginning rock climbing. I've been on one near Mt. Rushmore that was great.

Sam Houston Rec Sports to host rock climbing trip in Arkansas
Said. "The best part was when we all watched the lightning storm after a great day of climbing.

The sign-ups begin March 5 and the cost is $75. Students will gain the experience of rock climbing; learning step by step how to climb with other students from the Sam Houston campus.

The trip is not just for experienced climbers but for beginners as well. The equipment is included in the cost, just come and be ready to climb.

Students are encouraged to come take part and learn basic skills and also meet new students. There will also be a camp out where students get to spend their nights outdoors.
