Q: I have a basketball hoop and the backboard is good but the pole is really bad. So all I need is the pole. I have no idea whether I can buy it seperate or if I have to buy a whole new basketball hoop. If I can where can I buy them from?

A: I'm not sure what's in your area, but here in Chicago we have Home Depot, Menards or Lowes. So any hardware store should get you started.

On Sunday, Middlebury was announced as the host school for the four-team sectional. The Panthers (26-3) and Royals (22-7) play Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the second game of a doubleheader. In the 5:30 p.m. opener, Cabrini College (28-1) will face Eastern Connecticut State (24-5).
Friday's winners will meet Saturday at 7 p.m. for a berth in the NCAA Division III Final Four.
